HPI Promotes sharing and cooperation
as the best means of securing both our individual freedoms
and our common welfare

As we note elsewhere at this site (see: The Problem) the United States is beset by a host of social, economic, and political illsSolutions to virtually all of these ills, even the worst, already exist, but they are little known, and the related information is nowhere organized into a coherent process that can be easily followed by anyone.

At HPI, we pull together the relevant information from disparate sources and make it available in a variety of formats.  The most widely available resouce is this website.  In addition, classes are being taught, consulting services are available, and related publications will soon be provided.

What you'll find outlined here, at a very high level, is a three-step process that can be followed for the creation of virtually any form of cooperative enterprise.  Our intention is to provide a preview of the kind of process that is required to carry out the creation of social and economic alternatives.

Greater detail is available from resources linked primarily in the glossary, or directly from the Institute itself.

While our initial focus is Colorado, we will be making our resources available as templates for use in all 50 states (and indeed, anywhere else in the world).
